Creating brand awareness with events and video content

As a corporate videographer working in London, I get the fortunate opportunity to meet lots of interesting people while delivering my service. One client in particular has built up real brand recognition with their Digital Sessions program. Mishcon de Reya, a leading London Law Firm have been developing thier Academy for some time now. Essentially, a high profile guest is invited in to discuss their life, career, or passion in front of a live audience which is streamed across LinkedIn.

The host leading the conversation will be a partner, associate, or even an apprentice at the Firm. For their career, this is an amazing (and very brave) way to challenge themselves and build their own profile both within the Firm, and externally. The conversation is not only Live Streamed, it is also recorded. I then edit the footage into a series of videos for specific platforms and in specific durations. The full version goes on YouTube, a shorter highlight version on LinkedIn, and of course those super quick bites are for Instagram.

The initiative hits lots of touch points for the Firm while crucially providing them with a regular stream of fresh content. This high volume is key to keep within the thoughts of any potential clients. When you continually see the name, the logo, the branding, the content, the activity, it starts to take a place in the memory. So when you need a Law Firm or know someone who does, the recommendation is there in your mind and ready to go.

Below is an event round up video from a Digital Session featuring British Author Allan Hollinghurst discussing his novel ‘Our evenings’.
