Corporate event video for Mishcon de Reya Cambridge

I had a great evening filming a corporate event video for Mishcon de Reya in Cambridge. The evening brought together a wealth of connections from within the regions innovation and tech sector. The aim was get everyone together at the Law Firms Cambridge office to learn about a selection of inspirational emerging companies and start-ups, and to network for opportunities.

My brief was to capture the atmosphere of the event and a sample of each of the exhibiting businesses. It was actually really difficult to get the interviews purely because everyone seemed to be forever engrossed in deep conversation. Eventually I was satisfied I had everything I needed to create the overview video including establishing shots of the location and people chatting to set the scene.

I always try block out time to start working on the edit the next day while everything is still fresh in my mind. It also helps to keep up general momentum and my projects moving along at pace. Clients then get to output the content with a follow-up email or newsletter as soon as possible, helping to reinforce the social media activity on the night and following day.

The team at Mishcon were really happy with how their Tech Showcase Event went and had really good feedback. So it’s great to be able to help them document a great evening and help communicate who they are and what their all about!
